life in the freezer

The work isn't finished when you put the spade away. Oh no!

Back home the produce needs to be washed, checked, blanched and frozen.

Here blackberries, raspberries, green beans, calabrese and sweetcorn cool ready for the freezer.

The are all frozen 'flat' on trays so that they do not freeze together in a block.

The worst job is finding space in the freezer for it!
