Snuffle holes

Day 165 #365DaysWild

Nottingham General Cemetery

family walk around historic Nottingham included a route through the city’s two hundred year old city centre cemetery.

A pool of peace adjacent to busy city roads.

If managed sympathetically, cemeteries can be fantastic places for wildlife..

And as a keen wildlife watcher I was delighted to see telltale badger snuffle holes in the grass.

Great to know that beleaguered badgers are thriving, even in the middle of a major conurbation.
