An absolutely amazing swathe of pink in all its shades beneath the Himalayan birch next door.

Being spread from its stronghold around the garden by jays and squirrels who bury its baby corms. And by ants who harvest the seeds for their sticky sweet coating, discarding the seeds which later germinate and create new plants.
