Minus five Celsius as the sun rose this morning to a brilliant clear sky. Walking throughout the seasons and changing weathers is such an enriching privilege.

And so fortunate to have the place and time to walk. Only two other walkers today.

The photos show my daily views of the eastern and western routes of the new water pipeline which will snake through New Farm and then bisect the country park.

A disfiguring open ditch for eighteen months during the pressure-testing of the new main.

Disheartening.
