Mowing - Day 2.

Almost eleven miles walked behind mowers today.

During refreshments stopped to have look in the meadow.

Spotted three Hairy Shieldbugs.

The wing case suggests a shield, giving this group of insects their name.

Common.

These on a Pasque flower (pulsatilla) seed head. Planted this year.

A really attractive little insect.
