a list of February jobs.....

Jobs to do in the allotment:

1. complete barrowing of leaves for paths
2. minor repair compost bin
3. build third compost bin (order more planks first)
   
4. collect straw bales and build retaining wall for leaves/ squash bed
5. complete pruning of blackberries
   
6. repair edge of fruit bed
7. plant new apples
8. hoe around asparagus before letting hens peck over to remove asparagus beetle
9. get rid of old wooden frames
10. put up new nest boxes and empty/repair old ones
11. plant shallots
    
12. burn!
